"The NV Brut Rose de Saignee is easily one of the most compelling wines I tasted this year. It boasts extraordinary depth and richness in its many layers of fruit. Pomegranate, freshly cut roses and mint are some of the nuances that add complexity, but this is really about fruit and structure, both of which the wine has in spades. Dhont’s Rose is a big, vinous wine meant for the dinner table. I loved it."

"An understated version, with a waft of pretty cherry blossom and spice notes on the nose drawing you into the glass, where a backbone of chiseled acidity is aligned with flavors of ripe red apple and raspberry fruit, pickled ginger and an underpinning of chalky mineral. Fine and vibrant in texture, this expands slowly, so give it time. Disgorged January 2021. Drink now."

"A substantial Rose with prominent Pinot Noir flavors with flavors of raspberries, strawberries, and rhubarb. Not as light as other roses, but still very tasty and well-balanced."
