"Sergent’s NV Le Chemin des Chappes exudes tension, energy and pure class.  The white orchard fruit, crushed rock and floral notes are beautifully focused.  This is an especially vibrant, salivating style for a Pinot-based Champagne, and yet all the elements are impeccably balanced throughout.  Beams of tannin extend the finish effortlessly in this super-expressive, polished wine.  Chemin des Chappes is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Meunier from vines in Vrigny."
