"A highly expressive Blanc de Blancs, bursting with tangerine, papaya and fresh plum notes, cut with grapefruit pith and backed up by buttery shortbread richness. There is juiciness and generosity through the middle here, but also, despite the year's heat and drought, a welcome, if gentle, squeeze of Le Mesnil austerity, without too much of a sense of grip or heat. Immediately rewarding. 100% Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Drinking Window: 2023-2028."
