"Raphaël Bérêche’s new release of the family’s Brut Réserve is from the base year of 2021. The wine was disgorged in December of 2023 and finished with a very civilized dosage of six grams per liter, making it absolutely delicious to drink right out of the blocks. As is always the case with this cuvée, the wine is crafted from a blend of one-third each of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier. The bouquet is excellent, wafting from the glass in a mix of apple, peach, chalky soil tones, bread dough, dried flowers and a note of incipient smokiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and beautifully balanced, with a lovely core of fruit, fine soil undertow, bright acids, elegant mousse and a long, focused and very classy finish. Fine, fine juice and one of the best non-vintage Brut bottlings out there. 2024-2050."

Bursting with aromas of orange oil, crisp orchard fruit and fresh bread, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand, with tangy acids and an enveloping, pillowy profile."
