"Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in a blend of Hungarian, Chinkapin, and French Oak Barrels. Everything we do is grounded in whiskey tradition – up to a certain point. This bourbon starts as a KY Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Then we finish it in oak casks sourced from around the world. We blend these toasted HUNGARIAN, CHINKAPIN AND FRENCH OAK BARRELS together to achieve a distinctive profile that pushes the boundaries."
Tasting Notes:
Nose: "Fresh, ripe apricot balanced by rich toasted oak, with highlights of honeysuckle blossom."
Palate: "Bold baking spices from the oak with subtle hints of brioche and vanilla custard. Top notes of red plum anchored by fresh tobacco and leather tannins."
Finish: "A pleasant spice, lingering notes of nutmeg, black pepper, and cardamom, with a refined sweetness of brown sugar, and molasses."
