Winemaker Notes: 

"Our 2023 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon marks the first time that the Shone Farm Winery has produced the variety and the first time we have sourced grapes from outside our estate vineyard.  These grapes were hand-harvested From the River East Vineyard just south of the town of Healdsburg. The aroma has complex notes of cassis, cherry, and coco nibs followed by an oaky influence that is reminiscent of toasted marshmallows from its time in barrels. The wine’s smooth tannins make it a very drinkable wine that is an excellent accompaniment to richly flavored foods such as roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes, and cheeses of all types."
