"Tasted from barrel, the 2023 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is a new project from Adam Lee, made from a blend of 11 sites across the AVA.  Produced in a more accessible style with entirely de stemmed fruit, the 2023 is a velvety, supple wine with ample blue fruit, juicy acidity and a dusting of fine, cocoa-powder-like tannins.  This is ready to go."

"This exceptional wine is crafted from the finest vineyards in Santa Lucia Highlands, a testament to our strong connections with growers and wineries in the area. As you know, the wine market is struggling for many and thus when we were given the opportunity to blend what ended up being 11 barrels from these sources, we jumped at the chance. Aged in 64% new French oak, with completely destemmed fruit, think of this as being very similar to the Siduri Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir that I used to make. The 2023 vintage has been hailed as outstanding by our local clients and friends, promising a Pinot Noir that embodies richness, depth, and exquisite balance.  Whether this will be a unique, one-time offering or a recurring gem in our collection remains to be seen, but we know this wine is truly special." - Adam Lee
