Pech Merle is an award-winning winery started by a husband and wife team after being inspired by a trip to the prehistoric caves of Pech Merle in France. It is a boutique, family-run winery dedicated to cultivating and crafting the best of Sonoma County.  Their focus is on single vineyard designate wines produced in limited quantities.  The wines are made by years-long Beringer Winery cellar director, John Pepe. John learned a thing or two about making great wines while at behemoth Beringer, at Kendall-Jackson and at Lyeth too.
