"Our Merlot blocks thrive on the cool climate Rhinefarm estate vineyards, and we hand-harvest in the early morning hours to preserve the concentrated, fresh fruit flavors. The wine opens in the glass with aromas of dried sage and oregano that are lifted by elegant notes of violet. Upon entry, flavors of rhubarb and red currant transition effortlessly to a robust mid-palate complete with silky tannins and a luxurious finish. This wine is delicious and inviting now, but promises to show beautifully and live up to its legacy for the next 8+ years."
