"Though a bit tart and funky, the skin-fermented process turns an often innocuous grape like Pinot Gris into something to talk about. A dark orange-pink hue and slightly cloudy in the glass, the nose offers cranberry, tart cherry and blood orange aromas. The palate is very textural, showing maraschino cherry and orange rind flavors."
