"Pale, brilliant straw. Mineral-accented pear and nectarine aromas are complemented by suggestions of honeysuckle and sweet butter. Taut, focused and lively on the palate, offering fresh orchard and citrus fruit flavors that deepen and take on a peachy quality on the back half. Smoothly plays richness off energy and finishes long and minerally, showing fine definition and tangy citrus cut."

"It is one of the few white wines from El Bierzo aged on lees. Godelia Godello rests five months on lees in tanks. What makes this wine special is the evolution of the white grape and the time in the bottle. Godelia Godello has a gift that is very hard to obtain: it is ideal for sitting around and chatting, since it is fresh and has a lot of character, but it is also excellent for pairing, thanks to its nuances."
