"Christophe and Pierre-Henri Gadais are making lovely Muscadet. Their Navineaux Amphibolite bottling hails from granitic soils and shows lovely generosity out of the blocks in 2022. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a vibrant mix of lime, breadfruit, wet stone minerality, dried flowers and a bit of Chablis-like straw tones. On the palate the wine is bright, focused and full, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent mineral undertow, zesty acids and lovely balance on the long and complex finish. A fine bottle. 2023-2045."
