"In Kenwood in 2021, Ananth Madhavan’s perfectly manicured Barbera vines met Frane for the second time–and a beautiful baby wine was born. A vibrantly spiced wine, this 100% Barbera begs for a good meal with good friends. Opulent cherry and plum fruit surrounded by a velvety mouth-feel layered by hints of dark deep berry, cinnamon spice, and vanilla. This 2021 vintage is a reserve, aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak. Pair with bolognese pasta, Italian-style lentils with sausage, mushroom risotto, and pizza."
