"The 2018 Chardonnay Sun Chase Vineyard has fresh scents of baker’s yeast, quince and Golden Delicious apples with notes of citrus peel, roasted almonds and stone. The palate is gently rounded, uplifted and fresh with a long, mineral-driven finish. 218 cases produced."

"From the high-elevation site at the top of the Petaluma Gap region, this wine is thick and juicy, with an underlying intensity of fruit and body. Flavors of white peach and pear come to the fore, matching its herbal earthiness and length of baking spice." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Pale straw color. Aromas of Tarte Tatin and Gravenstein apple entice. Meyer lemon, ripe yellow nectarine, hazelnut, wet stone, and subtle brioche come through early in the palate then combine with lemon curd, key lime, and a bit of yeastiness further in the flavor profile. The zesty finish has invigorating acidity providing an electric counterpoint to the riper aromas and flavors. Viscous in nature with a rich, round mouthfeel. Poached salmon would be a delight as would thin crust mushroom pizza, pasta with a white sauce, steamed asparagus, creamy cow or sheep cheese including a Brillat Savarin. Delightful today and will reward you with proper cellaring for 3-5 years (2023-2026)."
