Producer: Jean-Marc Brocard
Region: Chablis, Burgundy, France
Varietal: Chardonnay
Year: 2021
Wine Enthusiast, 92 Points
"Sourced from low-yielding old vines (planted after World War II), this smoky, chalk-edged white highlights the classic mineral inflections of Chablis against luscious lemon and pear flavors of this ripe vintage. Full bodied and richly textured but anchored by a steely edge of acidity, it's ready now but should drink well through 2030 at least."
Winemaker Notes:
"Aromatically the wine is full of yellow fruits, such as lemon and crunchy apples, mango, and a hint of salty air. On the palate, the wine is a touch oily, with notes of marzipan, crushed rocks and delicate lemon curd."
Alcohol: 13%
