"Delicious, black fruit, orange tea, like Barbie, polished and fruity but underneath its tour de force."
Jeb Dunnuck, 92 Points
"Transparent but saturated ruby-hued, the 2021 Pinot Noir Pommard Clone is aromatic of wild red berries, fresh roses, and elegant cinnamon spice. Medium-bodied, with juicy, ripe wild strawberry fruit, dusty earth, and lavender, it has fine tannins, a soft, gravelly texture, and a hint of iron-rich earth. It’s approachable now but will continue to drink wonderfully over the next 4-6 years."
Tasting Notes:
"A lovely aromatic fusion of red plum, cherry, and violets mingle with hints of rustic earth. The silky persistent mouthfeel is complimented with balanced acidity. Ripe cherry, plum and black raspberry meld with undertones of brown spices, cedar, and a trace of orange zest near the finish. The harmonious flavors and an integrated structure create a Pinot that slowly seduces the palate with every sip."
