"Vinified in concrete and aging in a mix of demi-muids and amphorae, the 2020 Cotes du Rhone La Reserve is easily the equal of many Châteauneufs. A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, it offers up scents of rose petals, black tea, black cherries and red raspberries. Full-bodied, generous and rich, it finishes long and silky."

"In the same ballpark, the 2020 Côtes Du Rhône Reserve is 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre that was co-fermented and is still aging in demi-muids. It’s the equivalent of a terrific Châteauneuf du Pape with its ripe black cherry and black raspberry fruits as well as notes of Provençal garrigue, pepper, and violets. Medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins and terrific balance, it’s a gorgeous Cotes du Rhone in the making." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"This wine has a beautiful dark red color with touches of purple, bright reflection with velvet nuances.On the nose, we smell the aromas of thyme and rosemary, Provencal herbs, paired with blackberries and wild raspberries. The palate gives sensation of smoothness, with a great freshness and a nice finish. Fine tannins with notes of orange bark.  A shining wine characterized by its elegance and freshness."
