"This delicious gewurz is brimming with yellow-rose and ripe yellow-peach aromas, but only a hint of clove. Ripe and generous, but firmly structured, with attractive coolness and clarity. No hint of bitterness. Long, surprisingly delicate finish. Probably not yet quite at its peak. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold."

"From vineyards around Gueberschwihr and a small portion of young vines from the Hengst, the 2020 Riesling Roche Calcaire offers a clear, fresh and stony, lemony bouquet of crushed limestones and even flint stones. Full-bodied, pure and tensioned on the palate, this is a limestone-driven, silky-textured, elegant and refreshing Riesling with fine tannins and a finish that is pretty intense, finely bitter and quite long. This is an excellent wine for its price range. 13.2% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2022. Drink: 2024-2037."
