Winemaker Notes: 

"The Anjou Clos de Fresnaies originates from clay and limestone soils with brown schist and quartz subsoils, producing grapes sourced from 30 year-old chenin blanc vines harvested by hand. Fermentation in aged barrels transpires over a 12 month period, followed by full malolactic conversion. Notable flavors include baked apples, dried apricots, a hint of vanilla, and a delicate limestone minerality."
