From the Importer:
"Bonne Nouvelle is a parcel on the now famous Brézé butte, just south of the city, Saumur, by about ten or fifteen minutes by car toward the south. When Arnaud Lambert and his late father, Yves, took control of the Chateau de Brézé vineyards, this vineyard was used exclusively for a dessert wine. The Lamberts continued on in this way, but with the 2016 vintage I asked Arnaud to make a couple of barrels of still wine to see how it would be. The results were fabulous and Arnaud continues to make the two barrels (40-45 cases) of this wine each year exclusively for The Source."
