"From a Sangiacomo-farmed site in the coolness of the Petaluma Gap, this wine opens in earthy rose and forest floor. Stemmy, it unfurls layers of dark cherry and berry, lengthy with a robust, rounded texture and body."
Winemaker Notes:
"Roberts Road Vineyard is farmed by the legendary Sangiacomo grape growing family in the heart of the Petaluma Gap on the Sonoma Coast. Grown on gravely silt between two river beds, this fertile ground produces excessively beautiful and delicate Pinot Noir. The 115 takes on a candied quality while the Pommard keeps this Pinot in check with an earthy core. Aromas and flavors of pomegranate juice and cherry Jolly Rancher. Pale red in color, but full in flavor. As it ages, the finish keeps elongating."
