"Dark ruby.  Ripe dark berries, pungent herbs, licorice and a hint of spiciness on the fragrant nose.  Juicy and broad on the palate, offering bitter cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up.  The cherry note lingers on the long, subtly chewy finish, which is formed by fine-grained tannins."
