Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Sonoma County is one of the most famous producers of Pinot Noir in the world, and when you try the wines it is easy to see why. Sonoma is home to 18 different AVAs or American Viticultural Areas, each with their own unique soils and microclimates. Because of this and the decisions made by the vineyard and winemaking team, the resulting wines each offer something different.

In this collection you’ll find wines from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Carneros, Fort Ross-Seaview and Petaluma Gap AVAs within Sonoma County. There are currently nearly 13,800 acres of Pinot Noir planted here! While each has its own charm, we hope you enjoy the bold, bright fruit flavors unique to Sonoma County Pinot Noir.

You can also refine your search to Sonoma wines which have been highly rated (90+ Points), by price category or a number of other factors. We have included information on the wines such as tasting notes, notes from the Sonoma County winemakers and more to help you make your decision. Still not sure what kind of Sonoma Pinot Noir is best for you? Reach out to our team, we would be happy to help!

Sonoma County Pinot Noir is known for being an elegant, lighter red wine with good structure and flavors of red and black cherries, raspberries and a hint of earthiness. While more difficult to grow than other varieties, it thrives here in the cooler regions of Sonoma. The Pinot Noirs pair well with foods like roasted lamb, Boeuf bourguignon, mushroom risotto and charcuteries plates with gorgonzola and brie.
