Winemaker Notes: 

"In this vintage, our estate vineyards produced their smallest yield since 1978, giving us a wine with great intensity of flavor and tannin. It was aged principally in new oak, and lightly fined twice. Despite its tough structure, the wine is beautifully balanced, permitting it to be enjoyed while still relatively young. As with most Monte Bello Cabernets, five to ten years are required to develop full complexity."
