"Half of the fruit is dried for two months, before six years in barrel. This is a sumptuous wine, with the gritty extract conferred by the dried fruit component, albeit, with greater red fruited levity, floral lilt, freshness and drinkability than the Amarone. A tight corset of tannins massages pithy red cherry, lilac, anise and a whiff of balsamic into a meld of graceful poise, effusive energy and joy. The crunchy length, contagious."
