Winemaker Notes: 

"A Southern Rhone style blend that is intended to be unpretentious and an easy to drink, bistro style. The Grenache leads the blend with its pretty red fruits and perfume, and the more interesting varieties bring complexity, with spice and structure from the Mataro and herbal notes from the Carignan. The fruit is all picked by hand, is handled gently in the winery, and is fermented and aged in old oak. 

The grapes for Junto are picked early to create a very fresh, bright wine, with red fruits and lovely herbal characters. There’s a life to the palate, a nerve, a tension as well which elevates the intentionally light palate to a more serious place. The blend is put together with the idea that Grenache really is the hero, with Shiraz adding supporting flesh and the Mataro spice and structure/tannin"
