The Oakville AVA (American Viticultural Area) is a wine-growing region located in the Napa Valley of California, USA. What is the History of the Oakville AVA?

What is the To Kalon Vineyard?  

The To Kalon vineyard is a historic and renowned vineyard located within the Oakville AVA in Napa Valley, California. It is considered to be one of the most famous and sought-after vineyards in the world, known for producing some of the highest-quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. 

The vineyard was first planted in 1868 by a man named Hamilton Crabb. He was born in 1823 in New York state and moved to California in 1846.
