Here we go again! Another Bottle Barn Barrel Select, this time from our old friends at McLain and Kyne, with their Jefferson Reserve Very Old.

To the eye this whiskey is golden in the glass. The nose is pure and true with vanilla, dried apricot, a hint of subtle spice. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth with cooked brown sugar, sweet baked fruit and some nice, warm baking spice to finish. Overall, a very clean satisfying bourbon that is dangerously smooth for its’ proof.
