Winemaker Notes: 

"Deep purple red in the glass. Bramble berry and sweet baking spice aromas take center stage with hints of espresso, dried cherry and subtle rose petals. The rich fruitfulness of the nose is balanced by juicy, tart cherry notes on the palate. Minerality, sweet thyme and bay leaf add complexity and structure, speaking to the wine’s potential with several years of age. Much of the overt fruitfulness will give way to much more savory notes of tobacco, mushroom and dried tea with time in the cellar. If drinking within two to three years of vintage date, some decanting is recommended."
