"The 2021 Bourgogne Aligoté opens in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, freshly baked bread and pear, followed by a medium-bodied, satiny, racy palate that's quite giving and charming in what can be a taut, tangy white Burgundy vintage."

"Mostly from 55-year-old vines in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune augmented by vines in Chassagne, the 2021 Bourgogne Aligoté has a fragrant bouquet with apple blossom, linden and hints of Cornice pear. The 20% new oak is neatly integrated on the palate, a pleasant sharpness here, quite malic on the finish that cries out for a plate of fruits de mer. Oddly Muscadet-like in a positive way."
