"From two plots on the left bank near Vaillons, Montmains, with just under 1ha. The majority of the vines were plated in the early 2000's, although some are a lot older. The Raveneau Chablis shows very good richness, combined with ripeness of peach and pear fruit, all kept fresh by lingering citric acidity. Ageing in oak has certainly rounded off the corners of 2021's acidity, leaving a glossy, luxurious palate feel with a fine, mineral finish."

"I always love the Raveneau family’s Chablis villages bottling and the 2021 version is simply outstanding. The bouquet is already quite beautiful, wafting from the glass in a blend of pear, lemon, a nice touch of anise, chalky soil tones, blood orange and a topnote of citrus peel. On the palate the wine is pure, precise and full-bodied, with a fine core of fruit, electric acidity, lovely soil signature and superb backend energy on the long, complex and impeccably balanced finish. (Drink between 2023-2045)"

"Note: from 1.1 ha of vines situated near Montmains and Forêts Hints of wood and menthol suffuse the ripe yet still cool and airy aromas of iodine, lemon-lime, shellfish and Granny Smith apples. The delicious and nicely concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess a seductive texture while exhibiting excellent persistence on the moderately dry and balanced finale. This is quite good for its level and worth checking out."
Wine Advocate,
"Notes of citrus oil, oyster shell and white flowers, mingled with a touch of vintage-typical exotica, introduce Raveneau's 2021 Chablis Village, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy wine with good mid-palate volume and a saline, aromatic finish. On my most recent visit to the domaine, Isabelle Raveneau presented the young wines from barrel, along with a selection of the just-bottled 2021s. She compares the 2022 vintage with 2020; and in the wines' purity of fruit and ability to remain fresh and ethereal in so warm a year, 2022 is indeed strongly reminiscent of a somewhat fleshier 2020. The young 2021s couldn't offer more of a contrast: chiseled and incisive, with a touch of aromatic exotica in the generic Chablis bottling; but they are far from austere, and much like the domaine's 2016s, I suspect they will be quite approachable young despite their more old-school profile. Readers looking for more information on the history and approach of Domaine Raveneau are directed to my article in the End of March 2019 issue of The Wine Advocate."
Vinous,
"The 2021 Chablis Village was picked on September 25 and bottled in April. It has a winsome, perfumed nose that has shaken off the reduction that I discerned last year. The palate is well-balanced with good weight, with a twist of bitter lemon infusing with the wet stone element towards the finish. Fresh and sapid, enjoy this over the next 5-6 years."
