"From vines grown on the plateau above Les Clos, this is a great introduction to the Raveneau style, showing a lovely crystalline purity on the nose. The palate has a light touch of honey as this wine, like all others in the range, is matured in older wooden vessels. Raveneau's Petit Chablis is a relatively new addition, with the vines planted in 2010 and the first vintage being 2014. What a great place to start."

"It is probably a bit more than ten years since the Petit Chablis made its debut in the Raveneau family’s lineup of wines and this has been a tremendous value since its very first vintage. The 2020 is again a lovely wine in the making, offering up a bright and complex bouquet of apple, fresh-squeezed lemon, chalky minerality, spring flowers and just a touch of straw in the upper register. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and crisp, with a very good core of fruit this year, lovely mineral drive, bright acids and impeccable balance on the long, focused and complex finish. A lovely bottle. (Drink between 2022-2040)"
Wine Advocate, 90 Points
"Raveneau's 2020 Petit Chablis is the domaine's finest rendition of this comparative newcomer to the portfolio—from vines on the plateau above Les Clos—to date. Offering up aromas of pear, orange zest, freshly baked bread and hazelnut, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and chalky, with good depth and tension, concluding with a saline finish. As usual, it's mostly bottled in magnum."
Burghound,
"There is plenty of Chablis typicity present in the form of notes of iodine, oyster shell and bright citrus where the latter element is also present on the racy, intense and nicely detailed middleweight flavors that exude a bracing salinity on the highly refreshing finale. This is an excellent example of the genre. *Outstanding!*"
Jasper Morris,
"One plot above Vaudésir, planted in 2010. The Petit Chablis starts with a really intense tight and almost petrolly bouquet, then completely Chablisien on the palate, still some gas, the wood is very unobtrusive. Absolutely spectacular for the appellation and very persistent. Amazing for such young vines. Yes please."
Vinous,
"The 2020 Petit Chablis offers light apple blossom and crisp citrus peel scents on the nose, pretty but not complex. The palate bursts with dewy green apples on the entry and razor-sharp acidity. Short and straight-to-the-point on the finish. This should drink well for 4–6 years."
