About the Wine: 

"A collabaoration between Dan Petroski and his two friends in Friuli, winemakers Serena Palazzolo and Christian Patat of Ronco del Gemiz, this wine is vinified and grown in Italy under the Massican label. It is a blend of the traditional Tocai Friulano and Ribolla Gialla with Chardonnay. The fruit notes in the wine skew toward green pears, honeydew, and the astringency of quince with shades of sage and sweetgrass. The wine has moderate body, but the finish has a pleasing sour bitterness that begs for food. Briny fish, green olives or anything punctuated by the fresh and fruity or green and grassy are perfect match ups. Also see soft cow or goat's milk cheese."
