About the Wine: 

"Our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir comes from the Winside Estate vineyard, planted in 1997. The natural variations in soil throughout the vineyard, along with the blend of the clones, result in a complex, balanced wine. The Dijon clones contribute depth and dark fruit, the 667 and Donum clones add richness, and the Pommard and Calera clones bring elegance and finesse. Fog from the Pacific generally recedes early in the day resulting in plenty of sun with prevailing winds from the west keeping this site cooler in the afternoon, allowing for extended hang time."
