Winemaker Notes: 

"Grapes were hand-picked, hand-sorted, and 100% de-stemmed. They underwent a five-day cold maceration followed by fermentation in small, open-top tanks in which a selection of native and inoculated yeasts were utilized along with daily punchdowns by hand to enhance flavor. Wine was aged in oak barrels for 11 months sur lie with battonage in barrel every other week.

Vineyard Notes: 

"The 2018 winter months were very dry with unseasonably warm weather in the early part of the season. Rains returned mid-February, doubling the total rainfall and staving off early bud break. Vines responded well to the near-perfect vegetative cycle conditions. Because of the later rains, and impact of vintage 2017, crop loads were at near-historic levels."
