"The 2017 Pinot Noir La Côte is brisk, intensely saline and full of character. Here, the feeling is more of a linear wine built on energy and persistence more than volume. Bright red cherry, red plum, mint, blood orange and star anise add striking inner perfume and nuance. The is another wine that needs time to be at its best, but it is stunning, even in the early going."
