2016 Patrick Piuze Chablis Preuses [Vinous 91-94]
"(the yield here was just 35 hectoliters per hectare owing to millerandage): Aromas of yellow fruits, flowers and spices suggest a deep wine. Fat, savory and dry; a very concentrated wine with excellent breadth for the vintage. But the brisk flavors of pear, fresh white plum and Granny Smith apple will need time to fill in. It's hard to believe that this fruit was picked at 11.8% potential alcohol (and chaptalized only to 12.2%), but Piuze noted that he routinely gets mature skins here at low sugar levels."
