"The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes includes small amounts of Clairette and Grenache Blanc, plus six red grape varieties. It's peppery and anise-laden, with intriguing spice notes layered over ripe black cherries and stone fruit. Full-bodied and creamy in texture, it finishes with exotic notes of Asian five spice and star anise. It should drink well for at least a decade."
