"Coming from 5 separate blocks in the vineyard, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III has a Bordeaux-like (Saint-Julien?) bouquet of black currants, graphite, lead pencil and leafy herbs. It's ripe, full-bodied, and structured on the palate, with fine tannin, beautiful purity of fruit, a solid mid-palate, and a great finish. Like all these 2015s from Mike it will have two decades of longevity."

"This 2015 Myriad Cellars Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is a blue fruit extravaganza. An intoxicating nose of blackberry, currant, mocha, black licorice and spice begin your journey. Black and blue fruit dominate, mocha, crushed rock and soft tannins on the palate. The depth and complexity is where this wine reaches stardom. Layer after layer of rich and dense plush tannin, signature Rutherford dust and a velvety seductive texture. Finishes soft, dry and long…really long. Co-mingling the complexities of barrel spice and waves of pure and driven pedigreed Cabernet Sauvignon all the way through. A simply incredible wine, just not much of it. Prime drinking window of 2-7 years."
