The vineyards are located in Falset, capital of Priorat. This town is situated in the southeastern part of the region, in a valley surrounded by the Sierra del Montsant and Sierra de Llaberia mountains. Located in the watershed of the Siurana River, between the Camp of Tarragona and mouth of the Ebro River.

According to Vinous, this wine is “(fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for ten months in used French oak barriques): Opaque purple. Fresh black and blue fruit aromas are sharpened by a smoky mineral nuance and a sexy flourish of fresh lavender. Sappy and seamless in texture, offering juicy boysenberry flavors and a jolt of enlivening minerality. Finishes silky, precise and very long, with lingering florality and harmonious tannins. There's pretty remarkable value here. 91/100”
