2014 Balverne Pinot Noir
Region: Russian River Valley
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Balverne is made from a property that was part of the Rancho Sotoyome land grant of 1841 and was later acquired by Antonio Perelli-Minetti, who was the first to plant grapes on the property. In the 1920’s the estate was used as a summer residence; extensive stonework from the gardens can still be seen on the property.
This wine has been a long time Bottle Barn favorite and perennial award winner at the Harvest Fair, Press Democrat and Chronicle Wine competitions
Tasting Notes: Ripe cherry, mint, cola notes. Soft toasty finish.
Included in the North Coast Pinot Noir Sampler.
