"The Dr. Crane Vineyard offers us two distinct sections for our Myriad Cabernet.  The south side ‘Elysian’ is harvested two weeks later than our Dr. Crane Cabernet and produces a deeper, more intense and layered wine.  We pulled our favorite barrels (Taransaud, Darnajou and Marcel Cadet) to produce this unique rendition of the Myriad Beckstoffer Dr. Crane ‘Elysian’.  Our intention in producing this blend is to offer you an alternate expression of this fabled vineyard which can only be described as our house palate.

The color has a dense purple hue and is accompanied with copious amounts of intense aromatics across the red and blue fruit spectrum. The nose is full of barrel spice, scorched earth and Ecuadorian cocoa powder. The mid palate swings for the fences with its multi-layered pure glycerol nature and keeps pumping out waves of intoxicating fruit. Perfectly ripened tannins dazzle throughout this wine and lead to one of the most decadent and amazingly long finishes we have ever made."
