"The estate label of one of Australia's most exciting modern growers, this bottling is colorful melting pot of Tempranillo, Lagrein, Aglianico, Shiraz and Montepulciano. There's a lovely, expressive nose of brambly raspberry and currant fruits, violets, sap and medicinal herbs and spices. The mouthfeel is equally appealing with raspy, somewhat austere tannins cinching crunchy fruit. There's lovely acidity, particularly for such a warm region, and power without heaviness."

"The red grapes used to make this wine are some of the standout Mediterranean varieties found planted in Australia. Ashley’s aim was to craft a wine that ‘shouted a statement’ to the world that blends of Mediterranean grape varieties grown in the Riverland would make great wines. The bullets have been shot…..now for the cannonball!"
