Hold on to your hats this selection is big, bold, and exciting!

 We couldn’t be more excited about this offering from the good people at Hotaling and Co. Bottled and produced in Bardstown and labeled as a “6 Year”, our selection is actually 7 years and 7 months old (check the back label). The barrel uses a mash bill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley. While we can’t tell you where exactly this bourbon was produced, there is only one distillery in Bardstown using that mash bill… Time to do some research!

 I would wax poetically about what this whiskey has to offer, but I think the distillery nailed the description, when it said that this barrel "offers bold, dark cherry, roasted caramel, and cinnamon fragrances, and on the palate a marriage of herbs and soft peppery flavors take shape. The finish is long and dry with a sweet chocolate taste lingering afterward."

 This selection is sure to warm you in the coming winter months.
