"The 2018 Lava Block offers aromas and flavors that match its color – deep blackish purple.  Abundant aromas of blackberry, Marionberry, black currants and ripe plums are stitched together with hints of tree nuts and Pu-erh tea.  Secondary notes of sexy oak, black cardamom, dark chocolate, rock dust, cherry liqueur and ground black pepper add complexity.  An absolutely delicious flavor profile showcasing gobs of dark, luscious fruit, exotic spice box and minerality.  The wine possesses an incredible balance of fruit and tannins which play exquisitely through the resounding finish. The Lava Block represents a unique and distinct voice from the Kamen Estate. Enjoy over its 15 year evolution."
