Winemaker Notes:
"Always a favorite--a bold and black fruit-filled whiff invites you into this SRB that we all know and love. Hefty, bright notes of ripe boysenberry compote, currant jelly and a tinge of sweet new leather fill the senses with the first sip. As this opens up, it turns into a real mouth pleasing wine--it may even induce "swishing" to get it to every corner of the palate. The crowd-pleaser shows soft tannins and lightly torched oak and a touch of tobacco. The fig jam finish lingers just enough. A lovely, deeply satisfying wine."
Pairing Suggestions: "Enjoy this with carnitas tacos or braised beef short ribs. Or hold on to the last bit of summery weather with BBQ ribs! "
Alcohol: 13.9%
