Winemaker Notes: 

"This is a dry Gewurztraminer – a table wine, not the sweeter style so often seen. A delightful nose of white nectarine and rose petal is followed by corresponding flavors and the addition of tangerine. The finish is crisp and lingering with rose petal and a hint of ginger." 

Vineyard Notes: 

"The Gewürztraminer block on our estate in the Dry Creek Valley was planted using graft wood from our original 1979 block. The vines produce small clusters with incredibly concentrated flavors. Our location at the southern end of Dry Creek provides ample cool fog from our neighboring Russian River Valley. Harvest was early in the mornings of August 26th and 27th, 2020. Having the winery right on the estate property we have the luxury of delivering the grapes to the winery within minutes of harvest. From there, they are crushed, pressed and then fermented in stainless steel for 16 days between 53°F and 60°F. After fermentation, the wine is settled on the lees for 3 months and then bottled."
