"This vineyard has long been famous for its Pinot Noir selections. The sleeper is the Chardonnay, grown in a foggy coastal spot that gets some sunshine. The energy of the fruit and the vineyard site create an exciting bottle of wine. Crisp, with aromas of Asian pear and pink lady apple, plays alongside marigold, dried marjoram, and candied orange slices, propelling into fresh acidity and minerality to carry it across the palate."

"From Ferrington Vineyard, smack dab in the middle of the Anderson Valley, just minutes from the town of Boonville, this vineyard dates to the late 1960s, with these Chardonnay vines having been part of a late 1990s planting. Ripe pomme fruits, white flowers and beeswax give a sense of nuance to the aromas. The palate offers concentrated notes of lemon pastry cream, tart lemon pith, wet slate and crushed chalk minerality."
