Tasting Note: 

"Deep ruby and garnet in color. Elegant, layered nose of light pepper and mocha. On the palate, sweet red cherry, red plum, spice, mint with bright acids and beams of tannin give the wine its vibrant energy. This drinks well now but should continue to improve for another 5-7 years." 

About the Wine: 

We are honored to be releasing our first private label red wine! This inaugural blend is 80% from 100 year old Zinfandel vines in Dry Creek and Russian River Valley, 15% Merlot from Rockpile and 5% Petit Verdot from Rockpile. The four lots for this blend were all fermented with naturally occurring yeasts from the skins of the grapes, and then aged in two-year old tight grain French oak barrels for 18 months. 

Vinted and bottled by Davis Family Vineyards.
